Every week we have a new Week in Rap Shout Out Contest, and our favorite submission wins a shout out for their school. This week we asked you to cover a new story that we didn’t cover last week – Flocab-style, complete with both a short rap and an info box. You all wowed us as always, writing raps that could give us a run for our money.
The winning entry comes from Potosi Middle School in Potosi, Wisconsin:
300 miles off the Florida Coast
Old rocket parts were underwater toast
They came off of Saturn V
Which kept Neil Armstrong aliveAmazon CEO Jeff Bezos found rusted pieces of two rocket engines from the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. They were found 360 miles from Cape Canaveral, Florida, 3 miles deep in the Atlantic Ocean. Each engine weighed 18,000 pounds when it fell off the Saturn V rocket after lift-off.

It was the only thing in life that would bring him some peace
Convicted of a crime he did not commit
Killing a rabbi, the prayer candles were lit
A carjacking, robbery, stealing diamonds gone wrong
His jail sentence, the investigation, now singing their swan song
Forget about the negatives, there are positives here
His family, and friends, they shed many tears
David is happy and free for life
Making him forget all the pain and strife
